Family Discovers Hidden Paradise in Fiji

After spending time in Sydney, a family decided to take a spontaneous trip to Fiji, a destination known for its premium bottled water and history of cannibalism. With no visa required for Filipino tourists, the family embarked on a three-and-a-half-hour flight to what they thought would be a mystical paradise.

Upon arrival in Nadi, the family experienced warm Fijian hospitality and were greeted by local performers singing folk songs. The taxi driver, who was a fan of Filipino telenovelas, recommended the newly opened Crowne Plaza resort in Wailoaloa beach where they stayed for three nights.

Despite some construction in the area, the resort offered a wonderful experience with friendly staff and beautiful amenities. The family explored Nadi, visited a vibrant temple, and shopped for local handicrafts, including a symbol of Fiji’s cannibalistic past.

One highlight of the trip was a tour to the Mamanuca islands, where the family enjoyed clear waters, vibrant corals, and snorkeling. After days of relaxation and exploration, the family returned to Sydney with fond memories of their unforgettable trip to Fiji.

The trip was described as a wonderful slice of paradise with friendly locals, vibrant sights, and lasting memories.
