K-pop Girl Group Le Sserafim Cancels Bangkok Concert Due to Flu Outbreak

Bangkok, Thailand – The highly anticipated concert of K-pop girl group Le Sserafim in Bangkok has been canceled after three members of the group were diagnosed with the flu.

Originally scheduled for October 7 and 8, Le Sserafim’s “Flame Rises” concert was supposed to be a thrilling event for fans in Bangkok. However, the group’s agency, Source Music, announced on October 6 that three members – Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, and Kazuha – had visited a hospital and were diagnosed with Type A influenza.

In an official statement, Source Music expressed their regret over the cancellation of the 2023 Le Sserafim Tour and shared the news of the members’ illness. The statement mentioned that the affected members are currently in self-quarantine and under medical supervision.

“Considering the artists’ health and following the guidance of medical professionals, our company has regrettably decided that it is not feasible to proceed with the 2023 Le Sserafim Tour in Bangkok, leading to its cancellation,” the statement read.

The news of the concert cancellation saddened fans who had been eagerly awaiting the event. Source Music extended their sincere apologies to the fans and requested their understanding in this matter. The company also assured fans that information regarding ticket refunds will be provided through BEX’s social media channels.

Le Sserafim, known for their electrifying performances and captivating vocals, had previously expressed their excitement about performing for their Thai fans. The group’s agency emphasized their commitment to prioritizing the health and safety of their artists and reassured fans that they will continue to work towards ensuring the members’ full recovery.
