Kapamilya actress Lovi Poe recently shared her insights on filming an international movie compared to a local one. During the Skin Care Depot eighth anniversary celebration in Subic, Lovi emphasized that each production is unique with different styles of directors and producers in setting the mood on set.
“It’s just the same type of work. It doesn’t matter where it’s gonna be. You bring the same effort and compassion,” Lovi said in response to the question from Philstar.com.
Currently working on the movie “Guilty Pleasure” with JM de Guzman and Jameson Blake, Lovi praised her co-actors and director Connie Macatuno. She commended JM de Guzman’s acting skills, particularly his expressive eyes, and mentioned how Jameson Blake sweeps her off her feet during their scenes together.
Lovi graced the SCD event as the endorser of the brand, which celebrated its eighth anniversary with a fairy tale-themed event in Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center. The event was attended by Lovi and other endorsers like Boss Toyo, Maui Taylor, Sassa Dagdag, and Khel Pangilinan, as well as the CEO and founder Gracee Angeles.
The night was also a celebration for the company’s distributors from Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and the National Capital Region, who came together to party, win prizes, and watch SCD’s celebrity endorsers and supporters perform.
