Directed by Tom Harper, “Heart of Stone” follows Rachel Stone, an undercover field agent working for the Charter, a covert peacekeeping organization. Stone is assigned to a seasoned team led by Parker, played by Jamie Dornan. However, Stone’s true identity is unknown to her colleagues at the UK’s intelligence service. When a routine mission goes awry and exposes Stone’s cover, she and her fellow agents become vulnerable to dangerous threats.

The film takes viewers on a thrilling journey as Stone races to protect the Charter and overcome unimaginable dangers. As a former soldier and beauty queen, Gadot brings both physicality and humanity to her role, making Stone a formidable and relatable character.

In an interview, Gadot shared that looking convincing in fight scenes required rigorous training and adequate rest. As a mother of three, Gadot acknowledged the challenge of balancing her demanding schedule with the need for rest and recovery. She emphasized the importance of physical and mental preparation, including workout plans, specific diets, and meditation sessions using the Headspace app.

Gadot also revealed that she never aspired to become an action star but found inspiration in well-made films of the genre. She aimed to create a film that was fresh, thrilling, relatable, and grounded in reality. “Heart of Stone” differs in tone from Gadot’s previous projects, being more raw and serious, set in the real world.

The filming process for “Heart of Stone” presented its own set of challenges. Gadot and the team shot action sequences in six different locations, including Iceland, Italy, the UK, Los Angeles, Portugal, and Morocco. The diverse settings required the cast and crew to adapt to extreme weather conditions and physical demands. Gadot praised the hard work and creativity of the film’s writers, emphasizing their commitment to creating original and plausible action scenes.
