GMA Network’s “Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko” Returns with Magical New Series Starring Jillian Ward.
GMA Network’s highly acclaimed anthology series, “Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko,” is set to make a grand comeback, promising an enchanting and action-packed viewing experience for viewers. The show’s newest offering, “Captain Kitten,” starring the talented youngster Jillian Ward, will premiere on October 7.
In this month-long special, Ward portrays the character of Kat, a high school student who dedicates her time to the welfare of stray animals. She rescues them and brings them to her favorite pet cafe, where she encounters Dr. Tom, played by the multi-talented actor Gabby Eigenmann, who runs a nearby veterinary clinic.
However, little does Kat know, Dr. Tom and her friend Marty (played by Kim Perez) are involved in operating a secret laboratory, where animals are mistreated and used for experiments. One fateful night, Kat discovers that her beloved cat has been taken to this illegal clinic. As she tries to save her pet, Kat gets scratched, unknowingly acquiring cat-like instincts herself.
The show will explore whether Kat, with her newfound abilities, can rescue the animals from Dr. Tom’s secret laboratory.
Under the supervision of the GMA Entertainment Group, led by SVP for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, “Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko” is a testament to GMA’s commitment to providing quality entertainment. The drama is helmed by the visionary director Rico Gutierrez.
The upcoming episodes of “Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko: Captain Kitten” were brought to life by the creative team at GMA, including Creative Director Aloy Adlawan, Creative Consultant Jojo Nones, Headwriter Agnes Gagelonia-Uligan, and Writers Patrick Louie Ilagan, Onay Sales, and Renei Dimla.
