Alex Eala’s bid to make it to the main competition of the prestigious Miami Open came to an end as she lost in the qualifying draw final at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida, United States. The Filipina tennis sensation started strong but struggled with cramps against Emiliana Arango of Colombia, eventually falling 6-2, 5-7, 1-6. Eala’s valiant effort was not enough to overcome the former world No. 5 player in the WTA 1000 event.
