Chery Tiggo Secures Spot in Semifinals after Dramatic Victory over F2 Logistics

Chery Tiggo made a comeback for the ages, securing a semifinal spot in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference after a thrilling victory over F2 Logistics. The match saw Chery Tiggo battle back from a 1-2 set down to claim a 27-25, 11-25, 17-25, 25-22, 15-10 victory over their opponents.

The win marked Chery Tiggo’s seventh straight victory, giving them an 8-1 overall slate and the third semifinal spot in the tournament. The team’s coach, Kungfu Reyes, emphasized their character and never-say-die attitude, crediting their team effort for the hard-fought victory.

Eya Laure, a standout player for Chery Tiggo, played a crucial role in the dramatic victory, scoring the team’s last five points in the crucial fourth set. Mylene Paat also made significant contributions, scoring 21 points, including three blocks and three aces.

Despite losing in the spiking duel and blocking, and yielding more unforced errors, Chery Tiggo emerged victorious in the two-hour, 15-minute encounter. Libero Jen Nierva was awarded the best player of the game honors for her outstanding defensive performance.

The victory over F2 Logistics solidified Chery Tiggo’s place in the semifinals, further cementing their status as a formidable contender in the All-Filipino Conference. The team’s remarkable display of resilience and teamwork has set the stage for an exciting semifinal showdown in the tournament.
