First-ever Round Table golf event debuts at Mimosa

The Round Table golf tournament is set to begin on May 1 at the newly renovated Mountain Course of the Mimosa Plus Golf Course in Clark, Pampanga. Co-presented by Collabera Digital, the one-day event is in partnership with SOS Children’s Villages Philippines and the Department of Tourism. This marks the start of a series of events by Round Table Philippines, including a leadership summit, national assembly, general meeting, gala night, and breakfast sendoff.

Established in 2004, Round Table Philippines is part of the worldwide Round Table organization, comprised of young professionals and businessmen dedicated to the principles of “Adopt, Adapt, Improve.” Their goal is to bring about positive change and promote excellence in both the community and its members.

The 18-hole golf tournament has received an overwhelming response in terms of participant registrations. It is generously supported by AAA Worldwide Logistics, BPIT, Giift, and other sponsors. RJ Lista, the Round Table golf convenor, expressed gratitude to key figures for their efforts in ensuring the success of the event.

The championship event aims to support SOS Children’s Villages and serve as a qualifying platform for the World Amateur Golfers Championship (WAGC). Winners from five class categories will have the opportunity to represent the WAGC Philippines team at the annual championship in Phuket, Thailand.

Hole sponsors for the tournament include ECOMAX, K&H Apparel and Accessories, the Autohub Group, and Krah Pipes Manila, among others. The event promises to be filled with excitement and sportsmanship as participants compete for a chance to advance to the national finals.
