Tuazon and Perez emerge victorious in HERO Golf Cup



In a recent golf tournament held at the Camp Aguinaldo Golf Club in Quezon City, Jingy Tuazon emerged as the overall champion, while Ma. Theresa Perez claimed the ladies championship. The event, known as the 7th HERO Golf Cup 2024, was organized by the HERO Foundation, Inc. and attracted over 100 golfers.

Among those present at the ceremonial tee-off were HERO board of trustee Michael Tan, Rocky Nazareno, Aubrey Carlson, Col. Ariel Querubin, Lt. Gen. Charlton Gaerlan PN, MGen Victor Bayani AFP (Ret), and Aniceto Bisnar Jr. The tournament’s net proceeds will be used to support the educational needs of orphaned children and dependent siblings of soldiers who have been incapacitated or killed in action.

The HERO Foundation, Inc., founded in 1988, is the largest partner of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in providing educational support to the orphans of Filipino soldiers. Currently, the foundation is sponsoring 232 scholars nationwide and has assisted a total of 2,733 scholars since its establishment.
