Cloudy Tuesday with scattered rainfall forecasted for most areas of PH, according to Pagasa



The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) has forecasted overcast skies and rain due to the southwest monsoon or “habagat” in many parts of the country on Tuesday. Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio stated that Bataan, Zambales, Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro, and Palawan can expect cloudy skies with scattered rain, while the rest of Luzon may experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rains caused by thunderstorms.

Moreover, the effects of the southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies and scattered rain to Eastern and Central Visayas, as well as Mindanao, while Western Visayas will have generally fair weather with chances of thunderstorms. No low-pressure area or storms are currently being monitored within the country’s area of responsibility.

The temperature range in key cities/areas on Tuesday is as follows: Metro Manila (26 to 32 degrees Celsius), Baguio City (17 to 24 degrees Celsius), Laoag City (25 to 33 degrees Celsius), Tuguegarao (25 to 33 degrees Celsius), Legazpi City (26 to 32 degrees Celsius), Puerto Princesa City (25 to 31 degrees Celsius), Tagaytay (22 to 31 degrees Celsius), Kalayaan Islands (25 to 31 degrees Celsius), Iloilo City (24 to 32 degrees Celsius), Cebu (25 to 32 degrees Celsius), Tacloban City (26 to 33 degrees Celsius), Cagayan De Oro City (25 to 32 degrees Celsius), Zamboanga City (25 to 34 degrees Celsius), and Davao City (25 to 32 degrees Celsius).
