Woman Arrested for Possession of Suspected Shabu Worth P170,000 in Cavite, Philippines
In a successful buy-bust operation in Dasmariñas City on Monday, Jan. 15, the police arrested a woman and confiscated approximately P170,000 worth of suspected shabu from her possession.
The suspect, identified as alias Rogielyn, was found with more or less 25 grams of suspected “shabu” and a five hundred peso bill used as buy-bust money. The woman is now under the custody of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and will be turned over to Dasmariñas Component City Police Station.
The confiscated evidence will be sent to the Provincial Forensic Unit in Imus City for examination.
This arrest is a significant win in the fight against illegal drugs in Cavite, as law enforcement continues to crack down on drug trafficking and distribution in the area.
