The showdown of 2024 all stars ends in a stalemate



BACOLOD CITY – A high-intensity and competitive PBA All Star Game ended in a thrilling 140-140 deadlock between Team Japeth and Team Mark. The game, held at the University of St. La Salle Gym, proved to be a treat for fans as both teams put on a show.

Team Japeth started strong with shooters like Jamie Malonzo and RR Pogoy creating an early 46-20 lead. However, Team Mark, led by CJ Perez, fought back with Perez setting a new PBA All Star record with 28 points in the second quarter.

Despite Team Japeth holding a 140-129 lead with 1:42 left, Team Mark, led by Robert Bolick, made a late surge. Bolick hit a four-pointer and converted a free throw to tie the game at 140-140. The game came down to the wire with both teams missing game-winning attempts.

In the end, the game ended in a stalemate, giving fans a night to remember.
