PDEA apprehends suspected drug den operator and 3 others in Pampanga

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III (PDEA 3) successfully arrested a suspected drug trader, Noel Galang, and three others in Dapdap village, Mabalacat City, Pampanga. The operation resulted in the seizure of around P138,000 worth of crystal meth.

According to PDEA 3, Galang, 38, allegedly sold a small sachet of shabu to an undercover agent using marked peso bills. Galang is believed to be the operator of a house that had been converted into a drug den inside the Madapdap Resettlement Center.

The three individuals found inside the alleged drug den during the operation have also been detained and are now facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. This law stipulates that the mere presence of an individual inside a known drug den constitutes a crime.

The successful operation serves as a significant blow to the illegal drug trade in the region and underscores the diligent efforts of law enforcement agencies in combating this pressing issue.
