Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval spearheaded the grand opening and ceremonial lighting of Paskuhan Village 2023 on Tuesday evening, December 5, at the C4 Island in Barangay Longos, Malabon City. The event aims to showcase the products of local vendors and provide a platform for small businesses as part of the city’s recovery program.

The traditional countdown, followed by the ceremonial lighting, took place at 7 p.m., officially marking the commencement of the Christmas bazaar. The village features various outlets offering homemade delicacies from 13 local vendors.

The Paskuhan Village is open daily from 4 p.m. onwards and will run until December 30, according to the City’s Public Information Office (PIO).

Furthermore, visitors will have the chance to win raffle prizes donated by the Malabon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (MCCI), Philippine Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (PCCCII) E-Commerce Chapter, Philippine Malabon Cultural Institute, and Rotary Club of Malabon East on December 12.

Mayor Sandoval expressed her gratitude to the attendees for their support and participation in the event. She also emphasized the importance of being an inspiration and a source of light during the Christmas season.
