Maine Mendoza Surprised with Bridal Shower on ‘E.A.T.’: A Must-See Event

Maine Mendoza, the popular actress-TV host, was moved to tears during her bridal shower organized by her “E.A.T.” family. The event took place on Saturday, July 22, and began with Mendoza being escorted to the studio while dancing to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.” In the midst of the festivities, Mendoza was presented with a headband and sash that read “Bride to be” before taking her seat on the queen chair at the center of the stage.

The program featured performances from various guests, including singer Joey Generoso who serenaded Mendoza with David Pomeranz’s “Got to Believe in Magic.” Carren Eistrup, the show host, also took the stage to perform Bic Runga’s “Sway.” However, it was guest host Ice Seguerra who brought Mendoza to tears with his rendition of Coldplay’s “Yellow.”

Expressing her gratitude, Mendoza thanked the people involved in the event, including Ryzza Mae Dizon, Joey de Leon, and Carren Eistrup. She also extended her appreciation to her godfathers Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, and Joey de Leon, as well as her loyal fans who were present at the studio.

Mendoza is planning to tie the knot with her boyfriend of four years, actor-politician Arjo Atayde. The couple, who first met in 2018, announced their engagement in July last year. Although they have not revealed any specific details about their wedding, de Leon hinted that the ceremony will take place this July. As a gesture of gratitude, Mendoza and Atayde have chosen de Leon, along with Tito and Vic Sotto, as their wedding sponsors or godparents.
