Megastar Sharon Cuneta Reveals Health Update
During a recent media interview at InLife’s “Sheroes” campaign launch in Makati City, Sharon Cuneta disclosed details about her health condition. The actress shared that her x-ray results showed she has Osteoarthritis, in addition to lumbar thrombosis.
Cuneta explained that she has been managing back pain since 2013 due to a pinched nerve. Recently, she has experienced more pain in the right side of her hip, which led to the Osteoarthritis diagnosis. Despite the challenges, Cuneta expressed gratitude for the improvement in her condition, attributing it to proper treatment and medication.
Medical experts shed light on the conditions Cuneta is facing. Lumbar epidural venous plexus varices and thrombosis, as well as Osteoarthritis, are not uncommon, especially among older individuals. However, with the right approach to treatment and lifestyle changes, managing these conditions is possible.
Cuneta emphasized the importance of following her physical therapist’s instructions and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to alleviate her symptoms. As she continues to undergo treatment, Cuneta remains optimistic about her progress and looks forward to better days ahead.
