Paul Salas Becomes First Male Endorser for BeautyWise
In an unprecedented move, Kapuso star Paul Salas has been announced as the first male endorser for BeautyWise, breaking the stigma that skincare is only for women.
Expressing his excitement on Instagram, Salas said, “Let’s break the stigma that skin care is for women only. Dati iniisip ko na ang skincare products ay pang babae lang, Pero nung na-discover ko ang @beautywisephmain pwede naman pala maging maalaga sa sarili kahit anong gender ka pa!”
Salas admitted to being surprised when first offered the endorsement, but was ultimately inspired by the vision of BeautyWise. “This is history. So, I accepted it because I was also inspired because magkakaroon ng BeautyWise reseller program sa mga entre-Pinoys na mga ka-age namin. So noong nalaman ko yung vision na yun ng BeautyWise, hindi na ako nagdalawang isip.”
The announcement was made during a media conference at the Luxent Hotel in Quezon City, where Salas was presented to the entertainment press by Abdania Tapulgo Galo, the 18-year-old CEO of BeautyWise. Galo expressed admiration for Salas, saying, “When we saw him, we saw consistency. We saw someone passionate, someone with good morals that a BeautyWise endorser possesses. He’s really nice.”
Salas, known for starring in the hit movie “Shake, Rattle and Roll Extreme,” expressed gratitude for the endorsement, saying, “Dating pangarap ngayon tinupad mo na God. Thank you, @beautywisephmain, for giving me this opportunity and trust to be the first celebrity endorser of BeautyWise. May we soar high this 2024. I’m so blessed to be part of this. Sana magtuloy-tuloy ito para ma-reach ng BeautyWise ang buong Pilipinas.”
Galo was also asked about the possibility of joining show business due to her stunning looks, to which she responded, “Ever since I was young, I fantasized about show business. But there are still a lot of factors that I really cannot (join). Siguro, the biggest problem would be time management. But if I had the time, I would like to try it.”
