In this latest installment from Marvel Studios, “The Marvels” presents Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel, firmly reclaiming her identity from the tyrannical Kree regime and seeking retribution against the Supreme Intelligence. However, unforeseen consequences arise, burdening Carol with the task of stabilizing an increasingly chaotic universe. As her duties lead her to an abnormal wormhole connected to a Kree revolutionary, her powers intersect with those of Kamala Khan, a devoted fan of superheroes in Jersey City who assumes the mantle of Ms. Marvel. Additionally, Carol must also unite with her estranged niece, now a S.A.B.E.R. astronaut known as Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must learn to work in harmony and collaborate to save the universe in “The Marvels.”
The film features an all-star cast including Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Seo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson.
