Summer Concert Lineup Heats Up with OPM, K-pop, and Rock Performers

An exciting lineup of Original Pilipino Music (OPM), K-pop, and rock performers is set to light up concert venues across the country this summer.

American singer-songwriter Max Schneider, also known as MAX, kicked off his three-mall show tour in Manila yesterday, April 5, with upcoming performances at the UP Town Center, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, and One Ayala.

Today, Inoj and John Robinson will headline the Sundown Lifestyle Fest at the Metrotent Convention Center in Pasig City, while P-pop girl group KAIA will celebrate their second anniversary with a fan concert at the Music Museum in San Juan.

Local favorites SB19, Cup of Joe, Moira, December Avenue, Adie, and Juan Karlos will take the stage at the Aurora Music Festival in Clark Global City, Pampanga today, with Rico Blanco, Parokya ni Edgar, Kamikazee, Orange and Lemons, Andrew E, and Itchyworms scheduled to perform tomorrow, April 7.

Two K-pop boy bands, iKon and BtoB, are also gearing up for their respective shows on April 7 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum and SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Other highlights include an evening with James Taylor and his all-star band on April 8 at the MOA Arena, and performances by R&B artist UMI and actor-singer-songwriter Randy Santiago in the coming days.
