The Philippines to host FIVB Men’s World Championship in 2025

The Philippines has been chosen as the host country for the Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) Men’s World Championship in 2025. This prestigious event will take place from September 12 to 28, with the top 32 men’s volleyball teams from around the world competing in the country.

The official announcement was made at the FIVB headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, with Senator Pia Cayetano and Philippine National Volleyball Federation president Ramon Suzara leading the bidding delegation. FIVB president Dr. Ary Graca declared the Philippines as the sole winner of the hosting rights.

The Philippine delegation, which included PNVF officials and government representatives such as Cayetano and Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco, presented a compelling bid that secured the hosting rights for the country.

This historic event is expected to make the Philippines the center of volleyball excellence worldwide, as fans eagerly anticipate witnessing the best men’s teams in action on Philippine soil.
