A village official was killed and another injured in a collision in Sorsogon
LEGAZPI CITY — A village official was killed while another was hurt in a collision late Thursday in Donsol town, Sorsogon.
Brigadier General Andre Perez Dizon, Bicol police director, said in a report that Jordan Malaguiño, 52, of Barangay San Isidro of Dosol, died in a head-on collision at 6:26 p.m. with another motorcycle in Barangay Mabini.
Dizon said while driving his motorcycle, Anthony Mirandilla evaded a rough portion of the road that led to the incident.
Mirandilla suffered injuries and was brought to a hospital, while Malaguiño was declared dead.
The police said an investigation was underway.
