Sharon Cuneta politely declines requests for free ‘Dear Heart’ tickets, citing work commitments

Sharon Cuneta, the renowned actress and singer, expressed her frustration about the increasing number of people asking her for free tickets to her upcoming concert with Gabby Concepcion. Cuneta revealed her annoyance on her Instagram page on August 18, stating that the situation has become a headache for her. She mentioned that the limited number of complimentary tickets she has has caused her stress, and this particular concert has been the most troublesome one so far.

The Megastar emphasized that instead of asking for free passes, she supports her fellow singers by purchasing their concert tickets. Cuneta expressed her gratitude to friends and family members who have not bothered her and have taken the initiative to buy their own tickets. She jokingly mentioned that if she were to buy more tickets to give away, Gabby would be the only one performing at the concert because her salary would be used up.

Furthermore, Cuneta highlighted that the reunion concert with Gabby has a high production cost, which is reflected in the ticket prices. Tickets for the “Dear Heart” concert range from P1,200 to P18,500. She apologized to her fans, explaining that she can’t afford to give everyone free tickets, despite her desire to do so. Cuneta expressed her appreciation for their understanding and concluded the post by thanking her fans and saying she loves them all.

The love team of Cuneta and Gabby, known as “ShaGab,” started after their collaboration in the film “Dear Heart” in 1981. They got married three years later and had a daughter named KC Concepcion. The couple later annulled their marriage in 1987.
