The Philippine National Police (PNP) took a significant stride in enhancing public safety and convenience with the launch of another satellite office of the National Police Clearance System on Friday, June 2, 2023. The momentous event, held at Brgy Bucal in Calamba, Laguna, marked a collaborative effort between the PNP and City Mall Calamba City to streamline the process of obtaining police clearances for individuals.
Graced by the PNP Director for Investigation and Detective Management, PMGen Eliseo DC Cruz, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker, the ceremony highlighted the paramount importance of the National Police Clearance and the manifold benefits it bring to individuals and the community at large.
“The National Police Clearance System aims to provide a seamless and efficient means for individuals, particularly residents of Calamba City, to obtain their police clearances,” emphasized PMGen Cruz.
“Through our partnership with City Mall, we are expanding access to this essential service, ensuring convenience and efficacy for the residents of Calamba and the nearby towns of Laguna province, ” he added.
Prominent figures from the City Government of Calamba, including Mayor Roseller H Rizal, City Mall Commercial Center Inc. represented by President Mr. Ferdinand J Sia, and the Regional Director for PNP CALABARZON, PBGen Carlito M Gaces, also expressed their perspectives on the collaboration and its positive impact on public safety.
“The National Police Clearance service offers a comprehensive and reliable method for individuals to obtain their police clearances with ease,” stated PBGen Gaces.
“Through this partnership, residents of Calamba will have the convenience of accessing the service at City Mall, a central and accessible location within the city. This collaborative effort reflects our commitment to enhancing public services and ensuring the safety and well-being of our citizens,” PBGen Gaces added.
The launch event featured a demonstration of the streamlined process, showcasing the step-by-step procedure for obtaining the National Police Clearance. Additionally, the Calamba City Police Station conducted the ceremonial printing of the first-ever National Police Clearance under the new system, further underscoring the efficiency and convenience it brings to the community.
Meanwhile, PNP Chief Benjamin Acorda Jr. expressed his support for the initiative, stating, “The National Police Clearance System is a significant development in our efforts to provide accessible and reliable services to the public.
