The state health insurer has announced the addition of 32 commonly prescribed outpatient medicines to the Konsulta program. These medications cover a wide range of conditions, including infections, non-communicable diseases, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and various other therapies. This expansion brings the total number of covered medicines to 53, and is part of PhilHealth’s efforts to allocate P30 billion for the Konsulta package this year.
