Weather agency warns of increased likelihood of thunderstorms over Greater Metro Manila Area extending until Thursday evening. According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), residents in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, and Cavite should expect rain until 10 p.m. In a Facebook post, Pagasa also mentioned the possibility of rains in northern Luzon due to a frontal system. The agency’s weather specialist Rhea Torres advised residents in Batanes and Cagayan to prepare for possible rains. Additionally, cloud clusters in the southern part of the country may develop into a low-pressure area and enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the coming days.
