‘Qualifiers for ‘All Out Games’ Functional Fitness Tournament Begin’

The qualifiers for this year’s edition of the All Out Games (AOG) have officially kicked off in Manila. Athletes are currently participating in the qualifier workouts, which mark the beginning of the competition season.

According to a statement from the AOG, athletes are competing to achieve the best performance scores during this phase. Only a select number of athletes with top performances will advance to the final stages of the competition. The event aims to be beginner-friendly, encouraging newcomers to join in a functional fitness competition.

The qualifier workout consists of three parts of exercises to be completed in a span of 20 minutes. The competition proper is scheduled to take place on September 21 to 22 at the Filinvest Tent, with invitations set to be released on June 15th.

Participants can choose between two categories at the AOG — individual and teams of three. The individual category will feature divisions such as chill out, sweat out, master’s sweat out, master’s all out, and all out. Meanwhile, the teams of three category will have divisions including chill out, sweat out, and all out.

The games are being organized in collaboration with the Hidilyn Diaz Weightlifting Academy. Last year’s competition saw a total of 428 individuals taking part, and this year’s event is expected to draw an equally enthusiastic crowd of participants.
