Nothing.tech Launches Nothing Phone 2 in the Philippines: A Flagship Experience at Competitive Pricing

The Phone 2 by Nothing is now available in the Philippines, with competitive pricing below PHP 40K. This flagship device features the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset, a significant improvement over its predecessor’s Snapdragon 778G+.

While the Phone 2 may appear similar to its predecessor at first glance, Nothing CEO Carl Pei assures that there are notable design changes and hardware adjustments, while still maintaining its iconic look.

One of the design changes includes a slightly redesigned Glyph Interface, now divided into more segments, offering additional utility beyond notification and ringtone indicators. It can now serve as a visual countdown and progress tracker for services like ride or delivery tracking, as well as perform various other functions such as checking volume and acting as a timer.

The transparent back panel now features a curved design, with edges blending smoothly into the aluminum frame, providing a more ergonomic feel.

The Phone 2’s display is slightly larger at 6.7 inches, equipped with improved cameras, and most notably, an upgraded chipset for a flagship-level experience.

In terms of software, Nothing promises three years of major Android updates and four years of security patches delivered every two months.

As for pricing and availability, the Phone 2 starts at PHP 38,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant, while the fully equipped 12GB+512GB model is priced at PHP 44,999.
