Realme C53 Review: featuring a 108-megapixel camera, unveiled

Realme has introduced a new variant of the realme C53 in India, showcasing a significant upgrade alongside one notable drawback compared to its previous model.

What sets apart the new realme C53 from its existing counterpart in the Philippines? The most prominent enhancement lies in its sharper 108-megapixel primary camera, a significant improvement over the former 50-megapixel camera. This enhancement allows for up to 3x digital zoom capability.

Regrettably, in the pursuit of these upgrades, realme had to make a compromise by reducing the charging speed from 33W to 18W for some unspecified reason. Aside from this change, all other features remain unchanged.

The phone retains its spacious 6.74-inch IPS display operating at 90Hz, realme’s Mini Capsule feature, a powerful UNISOC T612 octa-core processor, a standard 5,000mAh battery, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The realme C53 equipped with the 108-megapixel camera is currently available for pre-order in India, priced at INR 9,999 (~Php 6,700). The official release is scheduled for June 26. As of now, there is no information regarding whether realme Philippines plans to bring this updated version to the country.
