Twitter Introduces Revenue Sharing Program for Verified Users: Twitter Blue Subscribers Eligible for Payouts

Twitter is now compensating verified users by sharing a portion of the advertising revenue generated from ads displayed in the comments section of their posts.

To qualify as a paid creator on Twitter, users must be subscribed to Twitter Blue and have accumulated over 5 million tweet impressions for each of the past three months.

Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, has announced that the initial round of payouts amounts to a total of $5 million, which will be cumulative starting from February.

Brian Krassenstein, a journalist, disclosed that he has received a payment of $24,305 from Twitter.

It should be noted that not all eligible creators subscribed to Twitter Blue receive these earnings. Users who engage in the creation of sexually explicit content, violence, gambling, drugs, and similar subjects are excluded from monetization.
