Lady Spikers promise a comeback in the next season

In the latest UAAP women’s volleyball tournament, La Salle faced an early exit after a tough battle against Santo Tomas. The Lady Spikers, determined to bounce back stronger, expressed their disappointment but emphasized that this setback will only motivate them to come back with a vengeance in the next season.

Reigning MVP Angel Canino highlighted the team’s resolve, stating that the loss will serve as a driving force for the players. Despite falling short in their title defense bid, La Salle remains optimistic about their future in the league.

Assistant coach Noel Orcullo acknowledged the team’s efforts in the match and admitted that they gave it their all. Looking ahead, Orcullo mentioned their plans to regroup and make a strong comeback in the upcoming season.

With La Salle out of the running, Santo Tomas secures a spot in the finals after a well-deserved victory. This season marks a significant change as the finals will not feature the usual contenders like La Salle or Ateneo, signaling a shift in the league’s landscape.

As the UAAP Season 86 Final Four continues, fans eagerly await the matchup between National U and Far Eastern U to determine who will face Santo Tomas in the finals showdown. Despite the disappointment of this season, La Salle remains determined to return to championship contention in the future.
