Hidilyn Diaz added another historic accolade to her resume after topping the IWF World Weightlifting Championship women’s 55kg category held in Bogota, Colombia on Wednesday, Dec. 7 (Dec. 8 PHT).
The 2020 Tokyo Olympic gold medalist claimed 3 gold medals, recording 93kg in snatch, 114kg for clean and jerk, and for a total lift of 207kg.
This is her first-ever world championship after clinching 3 bronze in 2015, 2017, and 2019 editions of the game.
