Prime Video announced that the popular Korean drama “Death’s Game,” starring Seo In-guk and Park So-dam, will be coming exclusively to the streaming service in December. The TVING and Amazon Original, produced by SLL, will be available on Prime Video in the Philippines and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, excluding South Korea and China.
The fantasy-drama series, based on a popular webtoon of the same name, follows the story of Choi Yee-jae (Seo In-guk) who, overwhelmed with failures in his life, decides to take his own life. Death (Park So-dam) decides to punish Yee-jae by reincarnating him 12 different times, living 12 different lives. As part of his punishment, Yee-jae must stop their imminent deaths.
“We are excited to partner with SLL in launching Death’s Game worldwide on Prime Video. We are aware of the popularity of high-quality Korean content, and we look forward to entertaining viewers around the globe with Death’s Game,” said David Simonsen, director of Prime Video Southeast Asia. The series will be available for streaming starting on Friday, Dec. 15.
This news was confirmed by spokespersons from both Prime Video and the production company, who also unveiled several promotional images for the forthcoming drama.
