GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon Celebrates 84th Birthday with Star-Studded Event
Celebrities came out to honor GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon as he celebrated his 84th birthday at Edsa Shangri-La Manila in Mandaluyong City on Saturday, Dec. 9. Among those in attendance were First Lady Liza Marcos, Senator Sonny Angara and his wife Tootsy Angara, Senator Joel Villanueva and his wife Gladys Villanueva, talent manager Jojie Dingcong, Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Heart Evangelista, Senator Chiz Escudero, Bea Alonzo, John Lloyd Cruz, and beauty queen-actress Michelle Dee, just to name a few.
During the celebration, Gozon announced his resignation as CEO and network chairman, effective Dec. 31, 2023. He will be replaced by Gilberto Duavit Jr. starting Jan. 1, 2024.
