Vina Morales eager to focus on theater, considering a move to the U.S. following Broadway experience.

In a recent interview, Vina Morales revealed that she and her sister Shaina Magdayao are currently working on securing their Green Cards, which would allow them to live and work permanently in the United States. Morales shared that they have already received emails from the US Embassy for an interview regarding their Green Card application.

The decision to pursue a Green Card came after their mother, who is an American citizen, petitioned them. While Sheryl, their sister, is already a US citizen, Morales and Magdayao were late in arranging the necessary paperwork due to uncertainties about working in the US. However, Morales emphasized that obtaining the Green Card is essential for the future of her daughter.

Contrary to speculation, Morales clarified that her pursuit of a Green Card is not motivated by her love life. While she had previously shared photos of her non-showbiz foreign boyfriend on social media, she now prefers to keep her relationship private, acknowledging the challenges of a long-distance relationship.

Morales also shared that her daughter, Ceana, is showing an interest in showbiz, following in the footsteps of her family members who are part of the entertainment industry. However, Morales emphasized the importance of Ceana finishing her studies first before pursuing a career in showbiz.

Meanwhile, Morales is set to make a movie comeback in the Philippine adaptation of the hit South Korean film “Sunny.” She will reunite with her fellow original Viva babies in the film, which tells the story of former high school friends who come together to grant their friend’s dying wish.

Looking ahead, Morales expressed her openness to taking on more theater projects after her positive experience in the musical “Here Lies Love” on Broadway. She highlighted the challenges and discipline required in theater performances, emphasizing the importance of delivering a flawless performance every time.
