The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) is set to conduct a webinar on June 20, 2023 (Tuesday), from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM entitled Employers Briefing on Issuance of TIN for Employees using Online Registration and Update System (ORUS).
The webinar aims to educate employers on their responsibility to get the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) of their new employees and how they can easily get it using the BIR’s Online Registration and Update System (ORUS).
Aside from discussions on the features and functionalities of ORUS, employers or their representatives will also be enlightened on the BIR’s policies regarding TIN issuance and validity as well as updates on the Bureau’s tax compliance requirements, particularly those
related to registration.
Participants will also have the chance to ask questions and clarify their issues/concerns with the officials/resource speakers from the BIR.
