BamBam of GOT7 Cancels US World Tour Stop Due to Injury Worsening



K-pop star BamBam of GOT7 regretfully announced the cancellation of the US leg of his solo world tour due to a worsening ankle injury. The tour, part of “The 1st World Tour: Area 52,” was scheduled to take place from February 10th to February 24th in various cities across the country. In a statement released by his agency, Abyss Company, it was revealed that BamBam’s ankle injury worsened while he was practicing for a new song, leading to the cancellation of the US tour.

The statement from Abyss Company expressed the agency’s regret and deep gratitude to fans, as well as the decision to prioritize BamBam’s health and wellness. The agency also announced that show tickets and VIP Packages will be fully refunded. BamBam also took to social media to apologize to his fans, expressing his regret and thanking them for their support.

As a result of the announcement, the hashtag #GetWellSoonBamBam trended on social media, with an outpouring of well wishes and support for the artist. The US leg of the tour would have included shows in Oakland, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Washington D.C., and New York City. BamBam had previously held a world tour in Manila in September of last year.
