Nanette Medved-Po Honored by CIA with BA for HOPE

Former actress and philanthropist Nanette Medved-Po was honored by the public service program ‘CIA with BA’ for her significant contributions to society through the organization HOPE. In the ‘Salamat’ segment of the episode that aired on Jan. 7, Medved-Po made one of her first television appearances in years and was reunited with colleagues Boy Abunda and sibling senators Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano.

During the episode, Alan Peter expressed his gratitude to Medved-Po and commended her for her work with HOPE, a B Corp-certified organization that invests in education, agriculture, and environment programs. He emphasized that HOPE in a Bottle, a product launched by Medved-Po, has been instrumental in building public school classrooms across the Philippines by committing 100% of its profits to the cause.

In response, Medved-Po humbly redirected the recognition to the people who support HOPE in a Bottle, stating, “Our product is actually not water, our product is the idea of hope. We all have the power to do something kahit konti lang.”

The public service program, ‘CIA with BA,’ hosted by Alan, Pia, and Boy, continues the legacy of Senator Rene Cayetano and airs every Sunday at 11:00 p.m. on GMA7.
