Agreement Signed by Korea’s StarNews, Pulp Live World, and TONZ Entertainment to Host 2023 Asia Artist Awards in the Philippines

For the first time since its inception in 2016, three entertainment companies have signed an agreement to hold the 2023 Asia Artist Awards (AAA) in the Philippines. It was announced on August 30th that the prestigious event will take place on December 14th at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, which is certified by the Guinness World Records as the “largest mixed-use indoor theater.”

The agreement was signed by Korea’s media outlet StarNews, Philippine concert promoter Pulp Live World, and TONZ Entertainment. The contract was finalized on August 14th at the Shangri-La The Fort in Taguig, with the presence of key executives including Vernon Go and Happee Sy-Go from Pulp Live World, Bahg Junechul (Park Joon-cheol) from StarNews, and Kuk Byoungjin and Kim Serin from TONZ Entertainment.

The decision to hold the AAA in the Philippines highlights the country’s growing prominence in the international entertainment industry. Since its establishment, the AAA has been a platform to celebrate the best of film, music, television, and digital content from the region.

Previous editions of the AAA have recognized acclaimed talents such as BTS, EXO, Seventeen, Stray Kids, trot singer Lim Young-woong, and actors Lee Jung-jae and Lee Seung-gi. The ceremonies in 2021 and 2022 were hosted by Super Junior’s Leeteuk and IVE’s Jang Won-young, though it remains to be seen if they will return for a third time.

Fans eager to stay updated on the AAA, including the star-studded lineup of artists, are encouraged to follow Pulp Live World’s official social media channels and website for the latest news and announcements.
