Disney+ presents ‘Wonderful World’ featuring Kim Nam-joo and Cha Eun-woo in lead roles in a Korean mystery drama



Korean Actress Kim Nam-joo and K-pop Idol-Actor Cha Eun-woo to Star in New Mystery Drama “Wonderful World”

Mark your calendars for March 1 as Disney+ is set to premiere the upcoming mystery drama “Wonderful World” starring Korean actress Kim Nam-joo and K-pop idol-actor Cha Eun-woo.

The new series will feature Kim Nam-joo, known for her role in the hit series “Queen of Housewives,” as Eun Soohyun, a successful professor struggling with depression after the death of her son. Alongside her is Cha Eun-woo, famous for his appearances in “True Beauty” and “A Good Day to be a Dog,” who will portray the role of Gwon Seonyul, a medical school dropout who shares a bond with Soohyun due to their similar traumas.

Directed by Yi Seungyoung and written by Kim Jieun, “Wonderful World” promises to be an engaging story of revenge as Eun Soohyun seeks to avenge her son’s death. The series also features Kim Kang-woo and Im Se-mi in key roles.

For Kim Nam-joo, this marks her comeback drama after six years since her appearance in “Misty” in 2018. Meanwhile, for Cha Eun-woo, “Wonderful World” follows his consecutive MBC drama appearances.

“Wonderful World” will join Disney+’s lineup of award-winning Korean content, including “Moving” and “The Worst of Evil,” as well as an extensive library of APAC originals and beloved international movies and shows.
