Willie Revillame expresses gratitude for his televised ‘second chance’ as part of Kapatid



Willie Revillame is set to make his television comeback after more than a year of hiatus. His production outfit, Goodwill Productions, has partnered with Manny V. Pangilinan’s MediaQuest Ventures and TV5 network for this comeback. The contract signing was attended by MediaQuest executives, including MediaQuest and Cignal TV president and CEO Jane Basas, and TV5 president and CEO Guido Zaballero.

Willie, known for his shows like “Willing Willie,” “Wil Time Bigtime,” and “Wowowillie” which aired on TV5 from 2010 to 2013, expressed his excitement for this partnership. He shared that the decision to return to TV5 came after a meeting with MediaQuest executives, Ms. Sienna Olaso, and Ms. Jane, where they brainstormed ideas and decided to collaborate.

Despite the rumors circulating about his return, Willie emphasized that they decided to announce it to “move on.” He expressed gratitude to his previous network, GMA 7, and mentioned that his new program on TV5 will be a game show with a different name and a new set of co-hosts. TV5 boss Guido Zaballero hinted that Willie’s new program will be coming soon.

As Willie embarks on this new chapter with TV5, he also thanked his previous network, GMA 7, and expressed his willingness to contribute creatively and ideate for the growth of TV5. The details of his new show were not disclosed during the announcement, but Willie assured that it’s only the beginning of what’s to come.
