US actor Kevin Spacey’s sexual assault trial concluded on Monday as the jury retired to consider their verdicts. Spacey, 63, has been facing nine charges of sexual offenses against four men between 2004 and 2013 in Britain.
Three of the accusers claim that Spacey aggressively groped them, while the fourth alleges that Spacey sexually assaulted him and performed oral sex on him while he was unconscious.
Spacey has pleaded not guilty to all charges, suggesting that his accusers are either lying or reimagining consensual encounters. The jury, consisting of nine men and three women, will now deliberate on the evidence presented during the trial.
