Hanteo Chart Reveals Top-Selling Physical Albums in South Korea in 2023

The highly anticipated ranking of the best-selling physical albums in South Korea in 2023 has been released by Hanteo Chart. The albums were ranked based on Hanteo’s proprietary physical record index (PRI) score, which is a combination of album sales and album price.

Seventeen emerged as the best-selling artist in terms of albums in South Korea in 2023, securing the first and second positions in the top 10. Their album “FML” claimed the top spot with sales of 5.65 million copies, equivalent to a physical record index score of 6.34 million. Following closely behind is Seventeen’s “Seventeenth Heaven,” which garnered 5.28 million copies in sales (6.1 million in PRI).

Other notable entries in the top 10 include Stray Kids’ “5-Star” and NCT Dream’s ISTJ, which claimed the third and fourth spots, respectively. In fifth place is Stray Kids’ “Rock-Star” mini-album.
