Gumban, PDEA officers and personnel gave a warm welcome to PMGEN Enmodias who is fondly remembered as former Director of PDEA Regional Office – CAR and PDEA Regional Office -X during his stint in PDEA.

Born on November 12, 1967 in Barlig, Mountain Province, PMGEN Enmodias is a proud member of Philippine Military Academy (PMA) “Bigkis Lahi” Class of 1990.

When Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 created the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, PMGEN Enmodias was one of the PNP’s officers who was detailed to the PDEA during the Agency’s formative years.

PMGEN Enmodias would go on to serve PDEA for eight years, leading his agents in numerous successful anti-drug operations, before being recalled back into the police force.

PMGEN Enmodias is known for his prowess in intelligence work when he headed two joint task forces that uncovered the perpetrators of the twin bombings in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat in 2018 and the December 31 bombing in front of a mall in Cotabato City.

He is also the Former Commander, Area Police Command Northern Luzon, Former Director of the PNP Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (PNP-IMEG), Former Executive Officer of the Directorate for Integrated Police Operations Northern Luzon, and Former Deputy Regional Director for Operations, Police Regional Office 12 in Southern Mindanao.

PMGEN Oliver Enmodias recalled the milestones of his career in the Agency during his speech, pointing out with fondness that he wore the PDEA Green uniform with pride. The PDEA Command Group presented the decorated police general with mementos in honor and recognition of the latter’s notable contributions to the national anti-drug effort.

A sentimental journey returning to his roots.
