Miles Ocampo and Elijah Canlas Reportedly Back on Speaking Terms
In a recent interview, actress Miles Ocampo revealed that she and Elijah Canlas have reestablished communication. This comes several months after Elijah confirmed their breakup in November.
During the interview with Karen Davila, Miles shared, “I’m happy na naiwan lahat ng issues namin na yun sa 2023, Miss Karen. And then we started this year na okay kami, na nag-usap na ulit and all.” However, she did not divulge the real reason for their split, simply stating, “May mga bagay na nangyari, Miss Karen.”
Miles also mentioned that every relationship involves efforts from both parties and acknowledged that there were shortcomings from both sides. She added, “Of course, may mga bagay na kaming dalawa lang ang makakaalam at makakasagot sa isa’t isa. So, might as well, be friends for now.”
The actress admitted that Elijah was her “first everything,” including her first boyfriend. When asked if he was her true love, she responded, “Yes, Miss Karen. First jowa. First boyfriend. First everything.”
When questioned about forgiveness, Miles shared, “Of course, Miss Karen. Forgiveness naman ang pinaka-importante sa lahat. For myself din, and since I still have love for that person, parang lahat naman ng tao nagkakamali. Parang dapat lang maging accountable yung mga tao sa mga nagawa nila.”
Regarding the possibility of rekindling their romance, she said, “Tingnan natin ang universe, Miss Karen, magsabi.”
