Nine Violators Arrested by Bulacan Police on New Year’s Day



Several successful police operations were carried out by the Bulacan police on the first day of 2024, resulting in multiple arrests and interventions across the province. Reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, the director of the Bulacan police, on Monday, Jan. 1, detailed the successful apprehension of several suspects.

In the City of San Jose Del Monte, the police station successfully arrested Ronald Perez Aquino, a 60-year-old security guard, for Alarm and Scandal and Violation of RA 10591 following a complaint for illegal discharge of a firearm at Marangal Elementary School. Aquino was found in possession of a cal. 38 revolver without a trademark and serial number, and appropriate complaints have been filed against him.

In addition, operatives from the San Jose Del Monte police station, in collaboration with personnel of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3, arrested two wanted individuals identified as “Chris” and “Jon” for various charges including grave oral defamation, robbery extortion, violations of the Anti-Photo and Voyeurism Act of 2009, and lascivious conduct.

Furthermore, an anti-illegal gambling operation in Bocaue Bulacan led to the apprehension of six individuals engaged in illegal cockfighting (tupada). The suspects, all residents of St. Martha Estate Homes in Brgy. Batia, Bocaue, Bulacan, were found in possession of fighting cocks, gaffs, and betting money.

The Bulacan police’s successful operations have resulted in the removal of several individuals engaged in criminal activities and will contribute to the maintenance of peace and order in the province.
