Municipality of Lopez Jaena Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for Php 56 Million Worth of Public Inrastructure Projects

Municipality of Lopez Jaena, Misamis Occidental, held a groundbreaking ceremony for five infrastructure facilities with a total appropriation of PHP 56 million.

The first project, with an appropriation of PHP 4 million, is the Multi-Purpose Building (Municipal Gym) Rehabilitation (Completion). The second project, with a budget of PHP 6 million, is the Access Roads and/or Bridges Construction from Barangay Katipa to Barangay Rizal, leading to Major/Strategic Public Buildings/Facilities.

The third project, with an appropriation of PHP 30 million, is the Misamis Occidental Alternate Road Network Construction that connects the National Primary Road to the National Secondary Road at Mansabay Alto-Alegria-Manguehan Section. The fourth project, with an appropriation of PHP 6 million, is the Multi-Purpose Building Construction that will serve as a Municipal Rural Health Unit Center in Barangay Eastern Poblacion. Finally, the fifth project, with an appropriation of PHP 10 million, is the Road Construction in Barangay Rizal.

These infrastructure projects will significantly contribute to the improvement of public services and may foster a better life for the general public in Lopez Jaena, Misamis Occidental. Municipal Mayor Andrea Cherry Pink L. Gutierrez and Vice Mayor Abundio P. Gerbese expressed their appreciation and excitement for the projects that would be provided to them.

The Department of Public Works and Highways – Misamis Occidental 1st District Engineering Office with OIC – Assistant District Engineer Ramisis Jaimar Y. Bicoy were invited to the ceremony, along with 1st District Congressman Jason P. Almonte, Provincial Governor Atty. Henry S. Oaminal, Provincial Vice Governor Rowena L. Gutierrez, municipal officials and employees, barangay captains, residents, and other stakeholders.
