New Zealand Police and Customs Service Liaison Officers Meet With PDEA Officials

Mr. Grant Carr, First Secretary, New Zealand Customs Liaison Officer and Detective Inspector Paul Borrell, New Zealand Police Liaison Officer were met by top officers of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency during a courtesy visit today, April 17, 2023 at the PDEA National Headquarters in Quezon City.

Mr. Carr and Detective Inspector Borrell were warmly received by PDEA Director General Undersecretary Moro Virgilio M. Lazo. Also present during the visit were Assistant Secretary Israel Dickson – PDEA Deputy Director General for Administration, Assistant Secretary Pierre R. Bucsit – PDEA Deputy Director General for Operation, Director III Derrick Arnold C. Carreon – PDEA Chief-of-Staff, and Atty Jacquelyn L De Guzman – Director of the PDEA International Cooperation and Foreign Affairs Service (ICFAS).

The New Zealand Customs Service together with the New Zealand Police participate in the global community by contributing to the development of international policy through cooperation with overseas customs and law enforcement bodies, with emphasis on managing increasingly complex transnational crime, particularly illicit drugs and emerging global security risks.
