MJ Phillips of Petro Gazz sets sights on comeback in PVL semifinals



An athlete is making a comeback to the Petrol Gazz Angels in the PVL All-Filipino Conference. MJ Phillips recently returned to Manila after playing in the Korean V. League with the Gwangju AI Peppers. The middle blocker is now back with the Angels and could potentially join the team’s rotation in the upcoming games.

Phillips, who has been part of the Angels’ roster since the start of the conference, expressed her eagerness to return to action. Despite her absence, she has been supporting the team from the bench and is looking forward to contributing on the court.

Her teammates, including skipper Remy Palma, are excited about Phillips’ return and believe that her presence will only strengthen the team. Palma emphasized that the team has been performing well even without Phillips, but her addition will enhance their capabilities.
