LTO Regional Directors’ Conference: Addressing Challenges and Charting a Path Forward

In an effort to enhance the system and promote effective land transportation services, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) held the first day of its two-day Regional Directors Conference.

The conference brought together LTO regional directors throughout the country to discuss crucial issues, share best practices, and align strategies aimed at improving its system and efficiency nationwide.

The conference opened with a comprehensive review of the system of the LTO or the Land Transportation Management System (LTMS). Issues and concerns are raised together with recommendations to better addressed it.

Regional directors also presented the new registration matters, licensing matters, Law Enforcement and Traffic Adjudication System, backlog or pending transactions and other issues and concerns.

By disseminating this information effectively, the LTO aims to achieve consistency and harmony in land transportation governance across the country.

In addition to the professional benefits, the conference provided an opportunity for regional directors to build relationships and network with their counterparts.

The LTO Regional Directors emphasized their commitment to implementing the knowledge gained and the strategies discussed to enhance road safety and land transportation services in their respective regions.

LTO Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Assistant Secretary Hector Villacorta and LTO OIC Executive Director Esteban M. Baltazar Jr. presided the conference.
