Why Heaven Peralejo views Marco Gallo as a positive sign

Marco Gallo and Heaven Peralejo have made it clear that they are not dating, but they admit that there is something special between them. In a recent press conference, Marco stated, “We’re in this situation where we don’t want to put a label on it. Because when you put labels, everything follows—expectations, the responsibilities. What we have within us is something… I can’t even call it a friendship. But it’s something. And we don’t want to waste it.”

Heaven also emphasized that they are not hiding anything as she said, “We’re open. What you see is what you get. If we have something to say, then we will say it.” Heaven’s approach towards relationships is influenced by her past experiences with publicizing her love life. “My past relationships were open to the public and didn’t really do me any good. Now, I would rather protect whatever I have in my personal life. And I hope people can respect what we’re willing to show,” she explained.

Both Marco and Heaven are taking their time to truly understand their feelings for each other. Marco mentioned, “We want to take our time. We don’t want to be together just because of the pressure or just because other people are in love with the idea [of us being together]. We have to be super sure.” Heaven added, “I don’t want us to be a couple just because we’re in a love team. If in time we do end up together, I want it to be because we chose and love each other. Whatever we have now, we just want to make it right and take it really slow. There’s no rush, really.”

Despite their non-committal stance, Marco and Heaven put effort into nurturing their relationship. Marco shared an incident where he went through great lengths to see Heaven. “When we decided to hang out—and it so happens that it’s usually during rush hour—I would go book a motorcycle taxi even if it’s raining. And one time, I even booked a delivery truck—and begged the driver to drive me—just so I could see her,” he revealed. Heaven expressed her appreciation for Marco’s gestures, saying, “One time, he arrived soaking wet and with food in hand! He loves cooking. But I don’t usually eat out or order food on my own. So it’s either he goes to where I am, on the set, or my mom’s house, and Marco would just bring food, drop them off and be on his way. I really appreciate that.”

Marco and Heaven are set to star in Viva Film’s upcoming rom-com movie, “The Ship Show,” which will be released on August 9. Directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, the film revolves around a reality show that aims to find the next big love team. The storyline is fitting for Marco and Heaven, as they both gained recognition from their participation in the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother” in 2016.

Besides their on-screen chemistry, Marco and Heaven also support and uplift each other off-screen. Marco described Heaven as his personal acting coach, revealing that she comforted and motivated him during a challenging scene. Heaven emphasized the advantage of being in a love team, saying, “If you’re comfortable with your co-star, he already knows your mood swings and it’s good.” However, she also mentioned that they are open to working with other people, and their love team actually helps them grow as individuals.

The success of Marco and Heaven’s previous project, the romantic series “The Rain in España,” has opened doors for more opportunities for the duo. Marco expressed his amazement and gratitude, stating, “I’m so amazed because the show opened a lot of doors for us. It gave us a chance to prove ourselves when it comes to acting. We grabbed the opportunities. And I think people saw potential in us.” Heaven echoed his sentiments, noting that their hard work is now paying off with more projects to come.

It’s clear that Marco and Heaven are taking things slow and focusing on their personal growth and career. While there may be something special between them, they are not rushing into a romantic relationship and want to ensure that their feelings are genuine. Fans can look forward to seeing their chemistry on the big screen in “The Ship Show,” as well as future projects that will showcase their individual talents.
